About the Role

As a Chief Financial Officer-Pre commissioning & Maintenance at Baker Hughes, you will play a crucial role in leading the financial strategy and operations of the Pre-commissioning and Maintenance (P&M) business unit in Cramlington, UK. With a proven track record in driving financial performance, managing complex financial operations, and leading high-performing teams, you will have the opportunity to partner with the CEO and the leadership team to influence overall business strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities: - Act as a visible member of the business leadership team - Serve as a Business Partner to the CEO and the leadership team - Influence overall business, commercial & operational strategies, systems, processes, and policies

  • • Develop and oversee a dashboard of key KPIs for business success

  • • Drive change and simplification initiatives

  • • Implement financial strategies aligned with business goals

  • • Conduct financial analysis and modeling for growth opportunities

  • • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

  • • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls

  • • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks

  • • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Qualifications Required: - Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or related field

  • • Proven track record as a senior finance leader

  • • Strong understanding of financial accounting standards and tax regulations

  • • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • • Experience with Oracle or SAP

  • • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • • Experience in managing complex financial operations globally

  • • Fluency in English
