About the Role

Job Description:



  • • Lead overall financial strategy, governance, and compliance, acting as a key advisor to the CEO on financial sustainability and risk management.

  • • Oversee budgeting (.₹25 Cr), financial planning, MIS, and Board-level reporting to support strategic decision-making.

  • • Manage donor funds, grant accounting, and program-wise financial tracking, ensuring transparency and efficient utilisation.

  • • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance including FCRA, Income Tax (12A/80G), CSR, GST, PF, ESI, and related frameworks.

  • • Drive internal controls, audit processes (statutory, donor, FCRA), and enterprise risk management systems.

  • • Strengthen financial systems, SOPs, and governance frameworks to ensure audit readiness and scalability.

  • • Support fundraising through financial inputs, due diligence, and engagement with CSR and institutional partners.

  • • Lead and mentor the finance team, building a culture of accountability and financial discipline.

    • Job Requirements:



  • • 10–15. years of experience in finance leadership roles, with exposure to NGO/CSR/development sector preferred.

  • • Strong experience managing ₹20. Cr budgets, donor-funded programs, and financial reporting.

  • • Deep expertise in FCRA, statutory compliance, audits, and regulatory frameworks in India.

  • • Strong capabilities in financial planning, MIS, internal controls, and risk management.

  • • Experience in Board reporting and stakeholder management with donors, auditors, and leadership.

  • • High integrity, strong communication skills, and ability to balance compliance with operational needs.
