About the Role

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in our company, your role will be crucial in leading the finance function and collaborating with the CEO and leadership team to steer business growth, profitability, and financial discipline. Your experience in the manufacturing industry coupled with exposure to project-based businesses such as construction, EPC, and facade will be instrumental in ensuring strong cost control, operational efficiency, and financial governance.

Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute financial strategy, providing advice to the leadership on investments and risks - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and project-wise profitability tracking - Oversee project accounting, billing cycles (POC), cost control, and collections

  • • Manage treasury, banking relationships (BGs, LCs), and project financing

  • • Ensure accurate reporting, audits, tax compliance, and strong internal controls

  • • Build and mentor a scalable finance team and drive ERP/automation initiatives
  • Qualifications: - CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent

  • • 12+ years in finance with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • • Strong exposure to manufacturing and project-based industries (construction, EPC, facade)

  • • Proven expertise in project accounting, contract/commercial management, and project financing (BGs/LCs)
  • In this role, your impact will be significant as you ensure the financial health and scalability during rapid growth, enable data-driven strategic decisions, and protect cash flow while optimizing working capital for project delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass various core focus areas including financial strategy & leadership, FP&A, project accounting & cost control, treasury & cash flow management, accounting & compliance, risk & contract management, and team leadership.

    Your success in this role will be measured through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as project profitability and margin improvement, cash flow and working capital efficiency, reduction in cost overruns and leakages, timely financial reporting and compliance, as well as improvement in receivables cycle and collection efficiency.

    As the ideal candidate, you should possess strong financial acumen, a strategic mindset, and effective decision-making abilities. Your expertise in cost control, margin improvement, and profitability management will be crucial, along with your proficiency in ERP systems and financial tools. Effective stakeholder management and leadership skills will also be essential in driving success in this role.
