Chief Executive Officer

Role Overview:
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in EdTech industry based in Bangalore with a global role, you will lead a high-growth organization into its next phase of expansion and profitability. Your responsibilities will include strategic leadership, financial management, operational excellence, business development, product and technology strategy, leadership development, governance, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Vision:

- Develop and execute a 35 year growth roadmap aligned with Board and shareholder expectations.
- Drive global expansion, competitive positioning, and innovation strategy.
- Establish measurable organizational goals and KPIs.
- Foster a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.
- Identify emerging opportunities in global EdTech markets.

• Financial Leadership & P&L Ownership:

- Own complete P&L responsibility across global operations.
- Drive revenue growth and maintain profitability.
- Develop annual budgets and financial performance plans.
- Monitor key financial metrics and ensure cost discipline.

• Operational Excellence:

- Lead strategic initiatives across business units.
- Optimize processes for scalability and oversee technology infrastructure.
- Monitor operational KPIs and ensure compliance frameworks are maintained.

• Business Development & Growth:

- Identify new markets, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
- Lead negotiations for major contracts and drive diversified revenue streams.
- Develop pricing and go-to-market strategies.

• Product & Technology Strategy:

- Oversee product roadmap and drive innovation in digital learning platforms.
- Ensure scalable and secure technology infrastructure.
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies.

• Leadership & Organizational Development:

- Build and mentor an executive leadership team.
- Implement talent development frameworks and performance management systems.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives.

• Governance & Stakeholder Management:

- Maintain strong Board engagement and oversee compliance frameworks.
- Represent the organization at industry forums and investor events.
- Strengthen relationships with investors and strategic stakeholders.

Qualification Required:

• Education:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Required).
- MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification (Preferred).

• Experience:

- 10+ years of executive leadership experience.
- Minimum 7 years in CEO or equivalent C-suite role.
- Demonstrated success scaling technology-driven businesses profitably.
- Strong investor relations and fundraising exposure.
- EdTech or B2B SaaS industry experience highly desirable.
