About the Role

We are working on a leadership mandate for a high-growth consumer brand in the beauty and wellness space.

This organization is one of India’s leading salon chains with a strong omni-channel presence and a fast-scaling footprint across multiple cities. Alongside its retail business, it also operates a well-recognized academy for grooming and training beauty professionals, with global accreditations and multiple industry awards. The company has built a strong reputation for customer experience, people practices, and brand-led growth.

Role: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Mumbai

We are looking for a finance leader who can partner closely with the founders and leadership team to drive the next phase of growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • • 10 to 15 years of experience, with flexibility up to 17 to 18 years in select cases

  • • Strong mix of controllership and business finance experience; pure business finance profiles are also relevant

  • • Experience across consumer businesses such as D2C, retail, cosmetics, or omni-channel brands

  • • Exposure to both offline and online business models is important

  • • Candidates from startup or high-growth environments preferred, even if they started in traditional FMCG

  • • Prior experience in IPO readiness, fundraising, or M.A will be a strong plus

  • • Backgrounds from companies like Lenskart, Wakefit, The Sleep Company and similar new-age brands are relevant

  • • CA is good to have but not mandatory

    • What the role entails:

  • • Driving financial strategy, planning, and governance for a scaling consumer business

  • • Partnering with business teams on growth, margins, and capital allocation

  • • Building robust financial systems, processes, and controls

  • • Leading fundraising, investor relations, and strategic initiatives

    • Compensation is open and will be aligned with market and candidate fit.
