CFO - Gurugram (India)

As the Head of Finance, you will lead financial operations and provide strategic guidance to drive performance and sustainable growth. You will oversee planning, analysis, compliance, and treasury functions while partnering with senior leadership to shape the financial future of a multi‑brand, multi‑channel business. What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed Strategic Financial Leadership - Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the long‑term financial vision and strategy.
• Provide financial stewardship and guidance on initiatives such as market entry, portfolio expansion, and capital allocation.

Financial

Planning & Analysis - Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑range planning.
• Deliver insightful analysis highlighting key drivers, performance metrics, risks, and opportunities.

Commercial

Finance - Partner with commercial teams to provide financial modelling and decision support for pricing, promotions, product launches, and channel expansion.
• Ensure financial strategies drive profitable growth. Controllership and Compliance - Oversee accounting operations to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial statements.
• Maintain robust internal controls and compliance with Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
• Manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors. Treasury and Cash Flow Management - Optimise working capital and manage cash flow effectively.
• Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and foreign exchange management. Team Leadership - Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing finance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership.
• Guide and develop financial controllers within each business unit. We’d Love to Hear From You If… Experience - You have at least 15 years of progressive financial experience, including 7 years in a leadership role managing finance for a multi‑channel consumer‑facing business such as premium retail, FMCG, or consumer durables, with deep exposure to e‑commerce.
• You have experience working in a publicly listed company environment.
• You are familiar with reporting requirements of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) (advantage).

Technical

Expertise - You are a Chartered Accountant (CA), strongly preferred.
• You hold an MBA in Finance from a premier institution such as IIM or ISB (advantage).
• You have deep expertise in Indian accounting standards, taxation (GST), and statutory compliance.
• You are skilled in financial modelling, FP&A, and implementing robust internal controls. Ways of Working - You think strategically and translate business strategy into financial plans.
