As the primary lead amongst our MGGS team you will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with the UK manager who will guide, support and drive you to do the following:
• Contribute to and implement the vision, processes and best practices laid out by the team manager who you will be directly accountable to and drive these amongst our MGGS colleagues.
• Act as a technical lead within the offshore delivery team, providing day-to-day guidance, oversight, and support, while partnering closely with the team manager to ensure alignment with strategic goals and performance expectations.
• You will be the second in command and our primary within MGGS by providing clear direction and technical guidance while effectively managing workload, ensuring clear ownership, timely execution of tasks, and alignment with project deadlines and service-level objectives.
• Design and implement automated solutions across Azure and other platforms.
• Oversee the support and stability of production systems and the cloud estate. Own the support of platforms and drive improvements through automation and observability. Working towards becoming the SME in many areas.
• Proactively identify and own the resolution of complex technical issues, drive root cause analysis and prevent reoccurrence.
• Drive the implementation and testing of disaster recovery (DR) capabilities, ensuring critical systems and services within the cloud estate are resilient, recoverable, and aligned with business continuity requirements.
• Learn, lead and own the implementation of enterprise governance, controls, and technical standards, integrating compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation into day-to-day operational practices.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
• 10 -12 years of experience in SRE, Application Support, Infrastructure Support or similar support roles, with 3+ years in a team lead / management capacity.
• Experiencing driving the training and development of engineers
• Managing multi-discipline teams
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure is a must
• Az-900 and Az-104 certifications are required
• Proficiency in scripting languages including PowerShell, ARM, YAML, Terraform
• Deep understanding, with proven experiencing of managing the following Azure administration tasks: RBAC, PIM, Entra ID, Policies, Cloud Networks, Firewalls and DNS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git), observability platforms (Azure Monitor, ServiceNow), and container platforms (RedHat OpenShift).
• Familiarity with cloud governance, cost optimization, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, design solutions, mentor engineers, and influence projects.
• Experience in setting up, configuring and maintaining monitoring tooling for cloud platforms.
• Proven experience in building relationships and communicating effectively with team members and other colleagues across both technical and non-technical parts of a business.
• Experience in responding, co-ordinating and driving major incidents independently, both in and out of core business hours.
• You must have the ability to tackle unfamiliar technical problems, confidently dive into unknown issues across complex systems to diagnose root causes and drive effective resolutions.
• Proven experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing automated solutions to overcome these.
• A solid understanding of how to configure cloud platforms for high scalability and resilience, disaster recovery, tight security and regulatory compliance.
• Applicants must be fluent in both verbal and written English in order to communicate with our business users and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate
A hands-on SRE or infrastructure engineer who has spent 10+ years building and supporting production systems and has already proven themselves as a technical lead or manager of 3+ years—someone who can code infrastructure-as-code in PowerShell/Terraform but also isn't afraid to debug a failing deployment at 2am.
Estimated Salary Range(medium confidence)
₹22 L – ₹35 L per year
