About the Role

Role Overview:
Join Deutsche Brse Group's India team in Hyderabad as part of a dynamic group of capital market engineers. As a crucial member of the team, you will focus on developing primary software for financial settlement of energy and commodity trades. This involves processing transaction data, creating interfaces, generating reports, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead teams in software development and work in an agile environment with a Scrum approach

• Define yourself as an Engineering manager and have a good understanding of Domain Driven Design

• Develop efficient software solutions by closely working with business departments

• Utilize technologies like Java, Docker, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and OpenShift for containerization

• Manage a team of 14 individuals including Software Engineers, Functional Analysts, Cloud Engineer, and Test Engineer

• Set up the area and ensure smooth onboarding for new employees

• Collaborate with Technical Lead and QA Engineer to maintain high technical quality

• Align with Product Owners, Scrum Master, and ECC Head of Units for seamless collaboration

• Support Java Web application development with Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and On-Premises solutions

• Explore Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub for efficient operations

• Handle tasks related to finance, clearing, settlement, payment, banks, and commodity trading in electric power and gas sectors

Qualifications Required:

• Prior experience in software engineering leadership and domain-driven software development

• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language, preferably Java

• Excellent communication skills at the management level

• Familiarity with technologies like GCP/AWS/Azure and Spring

• Ability to remove blockers and facilitate seamless collaboration within the product team
