About the Role

As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines, we are seeking an Associate Director, Insights and Analytics to join our Global Commercial Excellence team, focused on using business data, forecasting expertise, and analytics to generate actionable insight into business performance. The role provides forecast leadership and reporting capability across the global team and country affiliates, with particular emphasis on European biosimilar launches and in-market products. The role works closely with affiliates that have field teams and sales managers, translating local market dynamics into robust assumptions, clear scenarios, and practical recommendations. The role will provide forecasting expertise and business analytics and reporting capabilities to generate insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making across the global team and country affiliates. They will manage both Business Analyst and Business Insights Specialist resources that will be responsible for supporting the Global Commercial Excellence team with managing data and reporting requirements. What You'll Be Responsible For

• Develop and consolidate forecasts for product launches and in-market brands across the ADVANZ global region, with a focus on European biosimilars. Refine assumptions based on market developments, present insights to leadership, and coach affiliates to strengthen forecast quality and performance ambition.

• Own and serve as the Tableau reporting expert, ensuring reporting supports global brand decisions and affiliate Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Field leadership needs. Drive and implement a reporting enhancement roadmap across global and affiliate teams.

• Lead generation of actionable insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making, particularly for biosimilar launches. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, risks, and market trends, translating data into recommendations that improve commercial performance.

• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, including Business Analyst and Business Insights Specialist roles, while overseeing data warehouse and Tableau management.

• Apply advanced analytics by integrating multiple data sources to deliver objective insights and recommendations. Develop automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance forecasting, data accessibility, and insight generation.

• Continuously improve reporting, analytics, and information sharing across commercial teams within the international region.

• Analyse and report timely, accurate performance data for ADVANZ and competitors to support ELT reviews and business decision-making.

• Support global Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives, including sales force sizing, territory design, product launches, and portfolio expansion projects.

• Partner with the GCE Team, Global Brand Leads, and affiliates to support monthly business reviews, quarterly deep dives, forecast reviews, ELT requests, and business review presentations.

• Support commercial forecasting and budgeting by partnering with Global Brand Leads and affiliates to validate assumptions, challenge scenarios, and ensure forecasts reflect European market realities.

• Support the GCE, Marketing, and Global Brand teams in executing and interpreting market research, incorporating affiliate and field insights to shape global strategy before and after launch.

• Collaborate with Data Insights to ensure accurate supply chain forecast updates.

• Leverage formal and informal stakeholder networks to deliver objectives that directly contribute to GCE priorities and outcomes.

For this role, you will also have the following:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Business, Finance/Economics or the Life Sciences)

• Advanced level of proficiency with Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge, Skills . Experience:

• Proven experience within a pharmaceutical company with a focus on forecasting and delivery of analytics (ideally above country)

• Demonstrable European pharmaceutical forecasting and analytics experience in biosimilars with understanding of affiliate, field-force and market access inputs and local environmental knowledge in EU5 Pharma Markets

• Experience of healthcare and CRM data sets used across European markets (e.g. IQVIA, Veeva CRM and other specialist data sources)

• Proficiency using automation and AI to consolidate and analyse data

• Expertise in gathering, analysing, and interpreting competitor insights within the biosimilar market to support strategic decision-making.

• Experience in driving the full competitive intelligence process for the company, especially for biosimilars products

• First line management experience and demonstrable leadership skills.
