About the Role

As an Assistant Vice President for the Capital Management Reporting and Control team within Global Treasury at HSBC, you will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of our capital management processes. Your role will involve collaborating with senior management to provide strategic insights, developing initiatives to enhance capital management strategies, and overseeing the effectiveness of reporting and control processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • • Overseeing and managing all aspects of capital management reporting and control processes to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

  • • Collaborating with senior management to design and execute strategic capital management initiatives.

  • • Conducting thorough analysis to offer valuable recommendations for enhancing capital management strategies.

  • • Monitoring and evaluating the efficiency of current reporting and control processes and implementing improvements as needed.

  • • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • • Managing a team of finance professionals by providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their objectives.

  • • Developing and nurturing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, for effective communication and goal alignment.

  • • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in capital management to drive continuous improvement.

  • • Handling ad-hoc projects and assignments related to capital management when necessary.

  • • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of capital management strategies and processes.
