About the Role

As a member of the Aladdin Portfolio Management Engineering team at BlackRock, you will play a crucial role in building a next-generation platform with a persona-based, workflow-driven experience and a horizontally scalable & modular architecture.

Key Responsibilities: - Actively contribute to Technical Design Deployment Readiness Reviews, Core Reviews, and the entire PDLC. - Accelerate productivity with an AI-enabled PDLC, focusing on quality & resiliency. - Provide operational excellence to clients through production support with an "SRE" mindset.

  • • Influence and mentor other engineers, elevating technical excellence within the team.

  • • Collaborate in a global, multi-office environment to align teams around a shared architectural vision.

  • • Champion a strong engineering culture centered on continuous learning and best practices such as DORA.

  • • Quickly build domain and technical context, translating them into specifications, plans, and actionable Agile backlogs.

    • Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • • 8+ years of proven experience.

    • Skills and Experience: - Operating as a Senior Engineer or Team Lead, defining technical direction across initiatives with Agile Practices such as Lean or Scaled Agile.

  • • Proficiency in modern languages like Core Java and UI technologies such as React & Angular.

  • • Designing enterprise-scale, distributed systems balancing functional requirements with non-functional concerns.

  • • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled SDLC / PDLC practices.

  • • Partner effectively with Product Management, Engineering, and Business leaders to translate strategic objectives into architectural strategies.

  • • Excellent communication and influencing skills to articulate complex architectural concepts to senior stakeholders.

  • • Experience in API design principles & Event-Driven Architecture.

  • • Rigorous approach to quality through TDD & BDD experience.
