SECTION 2 Objective of the Job Role

To drive global revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and long-term customer relationships across Aerospace, Defence, Space, Marine, and Strategic Electronics domains by acquiring new OEMs, expanding existing accounts, and positioning the organization as a preferred strategic partner for advanced products and solutions including tubes, ducts, hoses, sheet metal, avionics, RF & data links, satellite communication, thermal management systems, and advanced software & AI-based solutions.

SECTION 3 Key Responsibilities

A. Business Growth & Market Expansion

- Own end-to-end global business development lifecycle: opportunity identification, lead qualification, customer engagement, bid management, negotiation, and closure.


- Drive annual revenue targets in the range of 100300+ Cr, with sustained YoY growth in order book and pipeline.

- Identify and onboard new global customers, defence establishments, and Indian & foreign OEM/FOEM partners.

- Develop sector-specific growth strategies across Defence, Aerospace, Space, Marine, EW, Avionics, RF and Strategic Manufacturing for the global customer.

B. New Business & Client Acquisition

Acquire new clients across:

- Aerospace Tubes, Ducts, Hoses, Machined Parts, Sheet Metal and Sub Assemblies

- Communications, Avionics & Data Links

- Satellite Communication & Thermal Management Systems

- RF Communication, Interception & Analysis

- Image Processing, AI Algorithms & Embedded Software

- Lead strategic entry into new geographies and platforms (civil & military).

C. Key Account Management & Mining

- Build and sustain long-term relationships with strategic accounts including DRDO labs, Armed Forces, DPSUs, Space agencies, shipyards, and global OEMs.

- Ensure high customer retention, repeat orders, and multi-product penetration.

- Maintain strong executive-level engagement across customer organizations.

D. Strategic Partnerships & Alliances

- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances, MoUs, JVs, and technology partnerships.

- Support Make-in-India, indigenization, offset, and co-development programs.

E. Contracting & Commercial Governance

- Lead techno-commercial discussions, contract reviews, risk assessments, and pricing strategies.

- Oversee bid submissions (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs), tender compliance, and negotiations.

- Ensure governance across NDAs, ToT agreements, long-term supply contracts, and AMC frameworks.

F. Internal Collaboration & Leadership

- Act as the voice of the customer internally with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams.

- Mentor and lead BD and sales teams across regions.

- Provide strategic market inputs to product roadmaps and R&D investments.
